Lumber Jack’s Coffee and Snacks is an independently owned and operated drive thru coffee shop, located in the hills on the Vermont / New York border located on route 7 in Hoosick, NY. We Specialize in Locally Roasted Vermont maple infused coffee and espresso drinks. As well as having year round apple cider donuts, we offer Bagels, Breakfast Sandwiches and a variety of baked goods. A variety of beverages for all tastes paired with our friendly service, all packed in a convenient drive thru to get you back on the road full and caffeinated, all to help you crush your day or your next adventure
How it Began.
The coffee shack was originated in 2005 by Michael Green originally as the Coffee Connection. Michael had roots on the west cost where little independent coffee shops are the norm. Mr. Green decided that the upstate NY / Vermont border was missing something….. A drive up Coffee shack!
After years of running the Coffee shack with his daughter he sold the business to local residents Vallis and Duane Goodermote of Petersburgh, NY in 2015. The Goodermotes after the purchase decided to change the business model and product line, playing off the name of one of their children, and Lumber Jack’s Coffee and Snacks was born. Two years after developing a new brand and product line the Goodermotes decided to sell the business to another local couple from Berlin, NY, Steven and Kimberly Beaudry.
With the foundation and the systems already in place the Beaudry’s with over twenty years combined in the food service industry hit the ground running in August 2017. Being committed to growing and making Lumber Jack’s Coffee more recognized and sonorous with Steve’s all time favorite sitcoms “Cheers” we had the vision of “wanting to go where everybody knows your name” with developing relationships and great customer service as well as quality we are the Anti of what’s expected from a drive thru establishment.
